the food, the ambiance and value for money - a pity the shops weren't open on sat am
That there was a very regular bus service right outside
The room was a bit small. Staff were not very friendly, and would make you wait until they were finished whatever they were doing before attending to you, though they knew you were standing in front of them.
This hotel was by a busy road and a bit out of the main part of the town, but did not have time to really explore properly. nice hotel.
the hotel was in a perfect location 5 mins walk to an amazing beach`. there is a fantastic promenade stretching for miles along the coast. there is a bustling nite life with something for everyone from sedate restaurants to buzzing tapas bars. everything is accessible by foot. there are also lots of bikes you can hire. taxis and buses are plentiful. there is an old hitoric part of town full of interesting things to see and a more modern part
We were dining at Arzak and the hotel was convenient.
A very decent hotel, quite close to the sea promenade and main beaches, well-kept, a bit over-priced, though.
Staff should learn English, sometimes you are lost if you don't speak Spanish.
I have stayed in the hotel twice before. Before as a couple, this time we had 2 young children. We booked a triple room & it was very spacious, had 3 single beds & a pullout bed. I would recommend the hotel for its location to the beach, less then 5 minute walk, walking distance of shops, bars & restaurants. It is a 15 minute walk along the promenade to the city. There are plenty of play areas for young children in San Sebastian even on the beach. We dined in the restaurant every night, the set menu was very reasonable and staff were very friendly & helpful. San Sebastian is a fantastic place for a weekend break or a family sun holiday. I will definitely be back again.
Very comfortable room and easy access to shops and buses to the city. Nice restaurant - good food and courteous staff.
The room was clean, well and nicely equipped.
We were given low-floor noisy room although asked for opposite in our booking and later on reception. The room had a smell of desinsection or carpet cleaning, what we did not understood upon arrival when the windows were open and we spent only 3-4 minutes in the room. But at night the smell became disgusting. Moreover, the room was very noisy at night because of heavy traffic. Fortunately, we booked for one night.
The staff were very kindly.
Because Christmas day, no restaurant..
Quite a nice room. 10 minute walk top beach and 15 to shops. Room quire pleasant. restaurant was good and quite inexpensive.
The price we paied was exorbitant. It was the only room left in the whole of San Sebastian, so they took advantage of it
The location is great, hotel lobby has a beautiful design, it feels good to sit there, watch how they decorated it.. Wi-fi available in the room was a great thing.
Staff , coffe at the bar and price. Very, very low value for money especially when you pay 200 Euro/1 night, book triple room and you end up in a normal double room with extra bed which is placed so that you can't open mini bar, suit case, or walk freely. Then you ask the staff about it and they say "well that's our triple room if you think you booked other, contact Booked.net". Then they show us another, which actually IS a triple room (bigger!!!!) but smells like an ashtray and so we stay in our tiny room anyway. Thank God their air condition worked well or we would've suffocated (u can't open the window because of the noise from the road). So I don't recommend this hotel to those who travel in 3.
Everything was as expected and I think that's good.
Tens of TV channels but all were local language or in Spanish.
Clean and solid.
It is located right on a busy street with heavy traffic, so you hear traffic noise 24 hours a day!
